The Neo Gallery is an all-inclusive, all-welcoming space, supporting a diverse array of independent artists, thinkers, and voices by providing a safe, judgment-free environment to create, learn and showcase.
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are digital assets that represent a real-world item, such as artwork, music, in-game items, or films. They are regularly purchased and traded online in exchange for cryptocurrencies, and are typically encoded using the same software as many other cryptos.
NFTs have been around since 2014, becoming a common way to acquire and trade digital art. In 2021 alone, the market for NFTs was estimated to be worth an impressive USD 15.70 billion.
NFTs often have unique identification codes and are one of a kind or at least one of a minimal run. According to Arry Yu, chair of the Washington Technology Industry Association, NFTs essentially produce digital scarcity.
